Giovanni Cova & C. e Ricordi honour Gioachino Rossini

Archivio Storico Ricordi renews the collaboration with the prestigious bakery from Milan

On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Gioachino Rossini’s death, the panettoni by Giovanni Cova & C. are dressed, for the second consecutive year, with the collections of the Archivio about the Maestro and others greats of the Opera and the Italian illustration.  To celebrate and continue the cultural path which connects the music to the Italian excellence confectionary, the Ricordi Line is decorated with new images and iconographies: from the reproduction of the autograph scores by Rossini of L’Italiana in Algeri, to the portrait by Vespasiano Bignami, from the historical images of Madama Butterfly di Giacomo Puccini, the libretto of Iris by Piero Mascagni, the illustrations by Marcello Dudovich, the cover of Bluff, fox trot di Vitale and the set design of La farsa amorosa by Roberto Zandonai, 1933 and Il Carillon magico by Pick-Mangiagalli with a costume design by Umberto Brunelleschi, 1918.
