The Archive at Archivissima 2019

From 12th to 15th April Turin hosts the second edition of Archivissima, the festival completely dedicated to the archive world. The Archivio Storico Ricordi takes part in the panel La contaminazione dei linguaggi espressivi  on Sunday 14^th April at 7:00 pm at the Polo del ‘900.

Starting point of the consideration is the content of the archive as a trigger of sense and a useful instrument to explain the present based on the past, thus connecting to the main topic of the festival: the crossing borders.

Archivissima 2019 stresses the need to broaden the horizon, to connect places and experiences, to promote the practice of sharing through a common narration aimed at intertwining individuals’ stories with the heritage preserved in the historical archives.

During the festival it will be possible to visit the exhibition Superarchivi. Un percorso fra le storie d’archivio with images from the Archivio Storico Ricordi.
