The exhibition, at the Polo del ‘900, is a thought about the concepts of preservation, memory and inheritage through the generational and genealogical passage. The Archivio Storico Ricordi contributes with the portraits of the four members of the Ricordi family who run the company, promotors and innovators of the musical publishing: the founder of the publishing house, Giovanni Ricordi (1785-1853), his son Tito I (1811-1888), his firstborn Giulio (1840-1912) and Tito II Ricordi (1865-1933).

The conference New routes. The archives to the test of the free knowledge (Wednesday 9th June at 10 a.m.) is a confrontation about the advantages, opportunities and criticism of the entrance of the archives in the world of the free and open data, and the development of the Wikipedia ecosystem as challenge to enter as contributors of quality contents in the world of the free knowledge. Pierluigi Ledda, manager director of the Archivio Storico Ricordi, tells the open access projects, in particular the collaboration with Wikimedia Italia started in 2020.
